Clarion Inn Belle Vernon

After being highly disappointed with a neighboring hotel, my baby boy and I happened upon the Clarion Inn. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating, even at 2am. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious, and easily match those of some pricier competitors. It's easily accessible from the highway and there are quite a few food and grocery options within a couple of miles. Although we didn't take advantage of any of the amenities, I was surprised to learn that this hotel offers a pool, gym, laundry facilities and even its own bar and restaurant. It is very fairly priced and upon entering the room it is obvious that customer service is a top priority here. I would absolutely stay here again!

When we arrived at the Clarion Inn, we were greeted very warmly at the reception. We managed to book last minute at a very affordable price. The room was clean, well-maintained, and tidy. The only downside was a musty smell in the hallways, but the room itself was spotless.

So, let's get this out right away. This is a great place to stay. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating!! The rooms are recently renovated, beds are comfy and the water is hot. These are all the key factors of any hotel stay. This hotel is under renovation. So there are issues that come along with that. None of which interfered with our one night stay. This is not a 5 star hotel. Do not expect it to be a 5 star hotel. The restaurant is closed due to the work, but they provide a very nice and simple lobby breakfast. The smoking area is down at the end of the hotel so there aren't people swarming the front entrance. I am a smoker. I appreciate this. We will definitely stay here again on our travels.

My recent stay at Clarion Inn was absolutely fantastic. The level of service and attention to detail exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff, who made me feel truly valued as a guest. Additionally, the location was perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Whether I was exploring the city or simply enjoying the hotel's tranquil ambiance, every moment was enjoyable and memorable. Hotel is continuing renovations but no noise during our stay. Room was large with nice beds new fixtures and clean, repainted. Front desk person was helpful. Breakfast was neatly laid out assorted rolls, toast, oatmeal/cereals, juice, and Jimmy Dean sandwiches, which was enough for us. Chose this place due to its proximity to the Great Allegheny rail trail. Their restaurant is closed but there is a decent bar and grill about a 5-minute drive away. The hotel is near the highway but soundproofing was pretty good. Dog friendly with a fee. Would definitely stay again. Good value.

My room smelled like mold. Also it is very dark out there at night. I did appreciate they had breakfast sandwiches and protein drinks as a selection for breakfast.

7/10. Nice room. Damage to a few things but not off putting. White sheets, comfy bed. It is worth noting that we were staying upstairs which I believe has been refurbished. Down stairs was undergoing refurbishment whilst we were there so that is possibly were some of the negative reviews were coming from.

Was pleasantly surprised to find how lovely this hotel was. It was located near two run down motels so I was a bit scared it would be the same. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The room was clean and smelled nice.I even enjoyed the clean gym room. The only reasons I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is because the continental breakfast didn't have many options and there was a dog barking next to our room for hours.. Overall, a nice stay!
